Buffalo Spring Ordeal
The 2010 Spring ordeal at Buffalo will happen on June 11-13
Registration will begin at 7:00p.m. and run through 9:00p.m. that
evening. This will be the last time candidates elected in 2009 will
be able to complete their chance to become members into the order of
the arrow.
Cost for the weekend are as followed.
For members the cost is $25. for members going for brotherhood the cost
vary. If you were inducted before the Fall ordeal in 2008 the cost
of brotherhood is $40. (the extra cost is for a new sash) For member
inducted after fall of 2008 the cost is $25 like the regular
members, because you paid for your brotherhood at your ordeal.
Members are needed to help keep the event flowing smoothly.
Elangomats are needed to help the event, and member work crews are
needed to work on the ceremony ring. Members who serve as Elangomats
get to go through the weekend free. (only 4-6 elangomats are
selected.
Cabins are available for the adults and youth, cabins are on a
first come first serve basis. Their are limited number of beds for
youth.
