2009 Fall Ordeal

The 2009 ordeal is now up and coming soon. The Fall Ordeal will occur from august 14-16 at Cary Camp in Lafayette Indiana. Registration will begin Friday at 7:00p.m. and running through 9:00p.m.This will be the first opportunity for candidates called out this summer at camp to complete there transition into membership.

Candidates will need to bring with them a tent, sleeping bag, ground cloth, med form, water bottle, work cloths, and a Class A uniform.

We hope you come join us for a weekend of service, fun, and fellowship.  As always help will be needed with everything from service projects, keeping meals prepared, to ceremony preparation.  Your help will be needed. 

Cost for the Ordeal weekend are broken down as such

$20 for members

$31 for ordeal candidates going for their brotherhood that became members before fall of 2008

The cost for candidates will be $5? this will cover food, cost of sash and brotherhood candidacy next year as well as dues and camp fees for the weekend.

Brotherhood

Takachsin lodge is required each year to convert a number of ordeal members to brotherhood members.  For 2009 we are still in need of more ordeal members taking the next step to brotherhood. Brotherhood seals your membership in the order of the arrow. As well, completing your brotherhood gets you a new sash.

So are you ready to take the next step in the Order of the Arrow? Are you wanting to have the two red bars on your sash? Well now is your opportunity! Brotherhood membership only takes a few simple steps.

· Memorize the signs of Arrow Membership

· Advance in your understanding of the ordeal

· Serve your unit for 10 months since your ordeal

· Plan for service in the lodge.

· Review your progress.

Fall Fellowship 2009
The 2009 fall fellowship will once again occur at Camp Buffalo October ??. Many games and activates will be available to all members. New vigil honor members will be inducted to the Lodge. Trainings will be offered in the morning. the Golden Arrow competition will happen in the afternoon. Lodge elections for the 2010 officers will occur in the evening.

 Cost for the Fall Fellowship are broken down as the following.

$30 for regular members and members going for brotherhood who joined after Fall of 2008

$43 for ordeal members going for there brotherhood who joined the OA before Fall ordeal of 2008. (extra cost is for your sash). Registration forms are here. We hope to see you at the fall fellowship of 2009.
